Are we at home, or are we on vacation? With the selection of tropical plants for sale at Ken’s Gardens, you won’t be able to tell the difference!

Tropical plants — like orchids, for example — enjoy more moisture and humidity and make great additions to primary bathrooms for their hot, moist air. That’s right, bathrooms! Tropical plants add flair, beauty, and a lovely pop of color anywhere you choose to place them. Popular tropical plants include philodendron (those vine plants with heart-shaped leaves), peace lilies, spider plants, hibiscus, and ferns.

On average, tropical plants enjoy bright, indirect light with potting soil that’s tailored to their specific needs. We recommend using larger pots to accommodate growth and adding fertilizer every two weeks in the spring and summer.

Planting Bars

All three of our locations have a Planting Bar, free to use when you purchase a plant and container. Here’s how it works:

  1. Purchase plant and container.
  2. Use our tools and soil to pot your plant in-store.
  3. Drive away with your plant ready to go to its new home!
